Keating joins Liverpool Women
Liverpool FC Women have announced the signing of goalkeeper Khiara Keating, who joins the club following the expiration of her contract with Manchester City. The England international has signed a permanent deal with the Reds, which will see her play for the team in the 26/27 season. This move reunites Keating with head coach Gareth Taylor, under whom she previously played at Manchester City.

Keating made her senior debut for Manchester City in the 21/22 campaign, contributing to a 5-0 league win against Leicester City. During the 23/24 season, she recorded twelve clean sheets across 29 appearances. Her international recognition began with a senior call-up for the Lionesses in October 2023 for a match against Brazil. She later made her debut in a friendly against Brazil after the Euros.
Despite her achievements, Keating felt she needed a new challenge where she could play consistently. She believes Liverpool can provide the missing piece to her career, offering regular game time with a strong team focused on winning trophies. One of her ambitions is to become an England and Liverpool No.1.
